possibility to performing a search again

When my search doesn't find anything, I often use to repeat the search. Currently it has to be done by closing current search and then typing the search term again.

The problem with this is that any filters I've applied to my search have to be inserted again too.

It would be a lot faster and easier if there was a button "Refresh" (or smth) that would stop the current search and re-initialize the search, leaving the form intact.
