Description

OK, I've got quite a crazy idea here ;)

I use to check my downloads' status quite often to ensure they are still running and progressing etc. So I click on the tray icon to raise/lower the app. But I wouldn't have to do it if downloads' status was shown on the icon.
One possible way to show it is to "fill" icon with another color (perhaps the same, but brighter) while downloads are progressing towards their ends - smth like Amarok 1.4 does it while song is playing (it does it the other way though - "emptying" the icon of the brighter color as song runs out of its time).

Perhaps the icon could change its color too according to what status the downloads are in, eg: green when all the downloads are running; yellow when any of the (one user's) downloads is queued; gray when any of the downloads' users is offline; red when a user has banned you; etc. The color could also depend on the weight of the status being shown (eg. the more yellow, the bigger percentage of the download-groups are queued).

And to not be stuck with downloads not running or being queued (user is offline or smth), it would be cool to be able to mark/unmark downloads (and/or their groups) to be taken into account in the status monitor.

Very utopian idea? :)

Oh! Hum. It would need quite a bit of work. The biggest issue would be to have a too much complicated system. We'll see for a future version...
